Camp is a School of Learning: Dr. P.K. Verma

A National Integration Camp was organized at Sadhana Bhavan, Chianki, Medininagar. The chief guest, Dr. P.K. Verma, Registrar of Nilamber-Pitamber University, inaugurated the camp by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Around 150 participants from six Indian states took part in the event and presented outstanding cultural performances. Artists from different regions showcased songs, dances, and folk traditions representing their respective cultures.
Among the cultural performances was a presentation by artists of Birbhum Sanskriti Bahini (West Bengal), who performed traditional Bengali folk music and dance. Participants from Madhya Pradesh and other states also presented their regional cultural programs.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Verma said:
“A camp is a school of learning. Such camps help people become responsible citizens and contribute to national development. Unity in diversity is the true identity of India.”
Special guest Dr. Shahdev, Controller of Examinations of Nilamber-Pitamber University, emphasized that India’s strength lies in its cultural diversity and that national integration is essential for peace and progress.
Vijay Kumar, District Youth Coordinator, Hazaribagh, spoke in detail about the importance of National Integration Camps and their role in promoting harmony among different communities.
The organizers stated that during the seven-day camp, participants would engage not only in cultural activities but also in discussions on:
- National Integration
- Environment
- HIV/AIDS Awareness
- Global Warming
- Painting and Creative Arts
- Other social and educational topics
The program was coordinated by Madhusudan Prasad Mehta, while Uday Kumar Singh and officials from the Nehru Yuva Kendra thanked the guests and participants.
During the event, Kaushal Kishore Jaiswal spoke about the dangers of global warming and environmental pollution and urged young people to become friends of nature and work towards environmental protection.
The report also mentions the contributions of several volunteers and organizers who helped make the event successful. In addition, B.K. Sharma of Patanjali Yog Peeth conducted a morning yoga session and explained the benefits of yoga to the participants.
