Birbhum Sanskriti Bahini is primarily a theater troupe and a cultural institution. However, in addition to cultural practices, this institution carries out various educational, social and service activities.
At the root of this organization is the idea of ' sob pechhir asor ' for children. In 1999, the Tarashankar Sabpeychir Asar was established in Labpur, Birbhum to bind the playground of children to the rhythm of dancing and singing. Then in 2008-2009, this institution made its debut with government recognition as Birbhum sanskriti bahini.
